The following botanical ingredients have been used in its preparation: juniper berries, coriander seeds, angelica root, orange peel, lemon peel, lily root powder, liquorice root powder, cassia bark, sweet almond peel, sweet orange and Buddha's Hand.
First, this rum rests in its Caribbean origin, in American oak barrels for 5 years. After this process, it is transferred to the Williams & Humbert facilities (Jerez), where it will spend the last phase of its process in butts (3 years) that have previously aged the internationally awarded sherry wine "Dos Cortados", certifying an age of 20 years...
Don Zoilo is a unique dry Oloroso with an oxidative aging in the Criaderas and Soleras system, in Jerez. With a minimum average ageing time of 12 years, it stands out for its intense memories of nuts, noble woods and walnuts with a dry and slightly acidic palate, with a lot of body and persistence.
